New Tool for Conforming with New Standards
The IIA has published a new tool to aid chief audit executives and their internal audit functions in implementing and preparing to conform with the new Global Internal Audit Standards by the effective date of January 9, 2025. IIA HK Submitted Responses on HKEx CG Consultation Paper
On 14 June 2024, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx) published the “Review on Corporate Governance Code and Related Listing Rules” outlining its latest proposed amendments to the Corporate Governance Code and related Listing Rules. IIA HK organized a discussion forum with the members on 31 July 2024 to collect their feedback on the consultation proposals. The members’ feedback was constructive and insightful. Based on the comments received, IIA HK prepared our responses to the proposals and submitted them to the HKEx on 16 August, 2024. For details of our responses, please click here.

CIA Challenge Exam 2024
Hurry up, the application and registration of CIA Challenge Exam 2024 end on 30 Sept 2024.
A one-part Challenge Exam (instead of the normal three-part exam) is offered by IIA to candidates with the following qualifications to become a Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®).
- Members of qualified accounting bodies (e.g. HKICPA)
- Holders of Certified Information System Auditor of ISACA
